SERVPRO Board up and Roof Tarping Austin, TX

SERVPRO of Hyde Park / Central Austin called out for emergency services for this North Austin, TX home. This home owner had a fire believe to have been caused by lightning. The fire nearly destroyed his entire house. Our services board up and roof tarp services was all that he requested. We put boards of the holes in the roof. The idea is to keep people and critters out or at least from easily accessing. Board do not make it water tight. The roof tarp is to keep the water out. Roof tarping is very common after hail storms or wind storms and during heavy rains when people discover a roof leak.
