Commercial Building Smoke Odor and Soot

SERVPRO of Hyde Park / Central Austin was called out for Soot and Smoke Cleanup for this local Austin Commercial Business.

This is a vacant store front commercial building in Central Austin that sustained some pretty heavy soot and smoke damage from a fire next door. The black on the wall is not all soot however the walls and metal roof framing was all impacted.

We cleaned all the walls and framing and then encapsulated everything with a white pigmented odor sealer. The sealer is good for applications like this were the detailed cleaning needed is very difficult to achieve. The sealer will reach areas that we can't and the final result is a nice clean white surface ready for paint.
