Water Heater my attic leaked.

Water heater in the attic leaked and the water came down through multiple levels all the way to the basement area of this home.  I had 2 water heaters in my attic in my prior home.  After about 5 years I was always paranoid it might start leaking.  Best advice I can give you to avoid a situation like this is talk to a plumber.  Ask them if they know anything about your brand of water heater and its life span.  You might even consider replacing the water heater as soon as the tank warranty is up.  In the event it does leak, call us.  SERVPRO of Hyde Park / Central Austin is here 24 hrs a day to hlep.
