During the seasons of heavy rains and high heat as you know we tend to have very high humidity around the Austin, TX area. New homes or remodels where the HVAC system is not in place or functioning to control the humidity the environment could be just right for mold growth. The mold we find in a situation like this is a little different than then norm. This mold is only on the surfaces and can usually be seen very easy. As you can see here we have mold on the drywall and studs in the walls were there is an open cavity.
